Australian born Philip Bishop has lived and worked in London since 1981 and uses watercolours, pen and ink to create his illustrations for editorials and advertising campaigns. Some of his clients include: The Times, Waitrose and the Wine Society.

What I enjoy most about Bishop's style of work is the rough, figurative aspects to his line and the use of colour and tone. They are intriguing to look at, are captivating and really lighten your mood when you look at them. Some of his more 'scratchy' drawings are a different take on his illustrative style, but the image above is one of the best ones on show at the illustration website available HERE
