VICTORIA BALL

I LOVE THIS ILLUSTRATOR!

Victoria graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, with a first class BA Hons in Illustration.
Having spent time illustrating in-house in London and Bath, she now works from her Gloucestershire based studio.

Victoria has produced artwork for a broad range of clients and markets both in the UK and Internationally. She continues to enjoy illustrating for magazines, merchandising, advertising and packaging. - illustrators' web.

CHRIS WARE

Ware's entry that has been nominated for the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year Show. The work shown doesn't showcase many works from the more commercial, mainstream design industry. It's not an accurate representation of the kind of work that the majority of graphic designers are engaged in every day – there is little packaging or commercial branding work for example. It's perhaps a more aspirational view of what design could (should?) be doing rather than what it is mostly doing right now. - Patrick Burgoyne

Australian born Philip Bishop has lived and worked in London since 1981 and uses watercolours, pen and ink to create his illustrations for editorials and advertising campaigns. Some of his clients include: The Times, Waitrose and the Wine Society.

What I enjoy most about Bishop's style of work is the rough, figurative aspects to his line and the use of colour and tone. They are intriguing to look at, are captivating and really lighten your mood when you look at them. Some of his more 'scratchy' drawings are a different take on his illustrative style, but the image above is one of the best ones on show at the illustration website available HERE
